Welcome to Provence
Nestled between Provence, the gorges of the River Ardèche and the Cévennes, your self-catering gîte “L’Atelier de Fernand”, or “Fernand’s Hideaway”, is a little corner of paradise in Provence Occitane. In calm, wooded seclusion, we offer you a fully-equipped gîte of 90 sq.m, sleeping 4/7 people. The gîte is a cottage within a self-contained property close to the River Rhône, just one kilometre from the small town of Pont Saint Esprit.
Fernand’s WORKSHOP
To create the gîte we completely restored and renovated the cottage where our inventor grandfather Fernand used to repair and maintain his tools, his hideaway atelier. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with a 160 x 200 double bed (which can also be configured as two 80 x 200 singles) plus an 80 x 190 single as well. The bathroom has an Italian-style shower and an alcove WC. Bedding and towels are supplied for free.
The ground floor has a second fully-equipped bedroom (double bed) with its own bathroom, as well as the sitting-room which has a convertible leather sofa-bed (sleeps 2).

American-style in-room kitchen, fully-equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee-machine, flat-screen TV, etc…
A conservatory leads out to the garden and the arched trellis of trained vines over the terrace, so you can eat either inside or out, however you choose.
You also have at your disposal a large barbeque and a washing-machine.
